Personal Mission Statement
What is my center?
God is my center. My value comes from who I am in Christ and what the Bible says about me. Without love I am nothing, what I do is worthless. If what I do is not fueled by or motivated by love, then everything I do and everything that I am is nothing. If I don’t have love, then I fail to make an impact.
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-7 New King James Version
My mission is to…
Take daily action to perform the first and greatest commandment as well as the second greatest commandment. I will also take daily action to spread the Gospel and fulfill my part of the Great Commission.
1. The first is to love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul, and mind.
2. The second is to love my neighbor as myself.
37 …“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’…
- Matthew 22:37-39 New International Version
Everything I do will be passed through the filter of those two commands.
The Great Commission
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
- Matthew 28:19-20 New King James Version
I want to do everything in my power to be effective in saving souls for Christ daily.
To do my part in the Great Commission.
To fulfill this mission:
I will first love God with all that I am, then love myself as I am taught by God, and with the same love I have received from God, I will love others(My neighbor).

- I will seek and obey God as I hear from Him.
- I will love myself.
- I will take care of my spiritual health.
- I will take care of my mental health.
- I will take care of my physical health.
- I will love my wife.
- I will lead my wife with passionate agape love and gentleness.
- I will love my wife as my own body.
- I will cleanse my wife with the washing of water by the word.

- I will train up my children in the way that they should go, so that when they get old they will not depart from it.
- I will love my children as myself.

- I will love my extended family as myself, with kindness, consideration, and care.
- I will love everyone else(My neighbors).
- I will love my neighbor as myself, with kindness, consideration, and care.
Continuous Action
I will take steps to fulfill my mission daily through continuous action. These actions are as follows:
- I will express love to others by taking action.
- I will take action and love others by solving people related problems.
- I will identify people related problems by being considerate of the needs of others.
- I will understand the root cause of all problems by involving myself at the deepest levels of detail.
- I will produce products that facilitate change in others with creative skills.
- I will facilitate change and empower people by solving problems with teaching and coaching.
- I will solve all kinds of problems with strategies, systems, and solutions.
I will make an impact.
I will give God glory.
36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
- Mark 8:36 New King James Version
These roles take priority in achieving my mission:
1. Servant of God
As a Servant of God, I strive daily to love God by developing my relationship with Him, obeying His voice, and trying to spread the Gospel as opportunities present themselves.
2. Husband
As a husband I am committed to loving my wife just as Jesus loved the church and gave Himself for her. I choose to die daily to love my wife. I die to my desires, opinions, and my plans as God leads me. I choose to lead in her sanctification daily. I choose to lead my wife in her productivity daily. I love my wife as my own body.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
- Ephesians 5:25-28 New King James Version
3. Dad
As a father I am committed to inspiring, instilling purpose, and growing my children. I help each child discover who they are as individuals, how God created them each as unique geniuses. I assist in paving the way for my children to attain to their fullest level of calling. I am called to lay a foundation for my children’s life as they grow into adults.
3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. 5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.
- Psalms 127:3-5 New King James Version
6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
- Proverbs 22:6 New King James Version
4. Household
In our household I am committed to having a hospitable, peaceful, clean, and organized home. I want the home to be a place that assists with our efforts in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Our home will provide:
- An environment for the Holy Spirit to dwell
- A place of rest
- An area of safety
5. Writer
As a Writer, I am committed to writing for the Kingdom. I want everything I write to be used for loving God, revealing the Gospel to non-believers, and Edifying the Body of Christ.
6. IT Technician & Entrepreneur
As an IT Technician & an entrepreneur, I am committed to working for the Kingdom. I want everything I work on to be work unto the Lord. As I work I will let my light shine for God.
23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,
- Colossians 3:23 New King James Version
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
- Matthew 5:16 New King James Version
